Important Change in
U.S. Savings Bonds

The traditional paper version of a savings bond will no longer be sold at banks or other financial institutions after December 31, 2011. But don't worry; you will still be able to purchase electronic savings bonds online through TreasureDirect

It's also important to know that all existing paper bonds are still valid and will earn interest for 30 years from the issue date or until redeemed. And they are still redeemable at any WMB location.

For more information go to www.treasurydirect.gov or speak to your local WMB branch manager.
